An indictment against two people was inflicted by the Prizren municipality of 18,000 euros

According to the indictment, the defendant B.J., in the quality of the official person and the supervisory body of the project “construction of infrastructure in the village of Vlashnje, public roads and lighting”, during the month period from August 2022 to August 16, 2024, exploiting his office and official authority, has deliberately exceeded competencies and acted in opposition to the Public Procurement Law, compile reports, and extinguishive sites in which the work was presented as being carried out under contract, though, according to the act, the situation has been otherwise on the ground.

As a result of these actions, the Commission for Technical Accession has been put into play and compiled accession reports, wrongly confirming that the works were carried out according to contract specifications, despite the fact that the work on the ground was not finished in line with contracted conditions.

Therefore, the prosecution says that as a result of these actions, payment has been made in favour of the group of economic operators “M.B.G.” St. P.K and “A. P.” Sh. P.K., although the work wasn't finished according to the contract.

Through these actions, Prizren's municipality has been subjected to material damage worth 18,765.00 euros, while illegal wealth for economic operators in the same amount.

While, defendant J.B., as authorised representative of economic operators “M.B.G.” St. P.K and “A. P.” Sh. The P.K, in co-operation with defendant B.J., has acted with a view to wealth gain by violating public procurement provisions and procedures, and the same does not comply with obligations stemming from the contract.

The prosecutor of the case in the case of setting up the indictment has proposed to the court that, after maintaining judicial examination, management of their evidence and assessment, the defendants charged with criminal acts accused of being convicted and sentenced according to law”. /Periscope
