According to Haradinaj, the decision by Minister of Victory Pacolli to ban the transport of construction materials to Bjeshket and Nemuna with an excuse for protecting the ecosystem is an example of this break.
Instead of this Kosovo tourist pearl being supported by investments in the roads, infrastructure and sustainable development, it is facing decisions that are at risk of isolating and suppressing any development opportunities. This is the mentality of a government leaving behind only obstacles, harmful decisions and a clear mirror of inability to understand the real needs of its citizens”, Haradinaj wrote.
Full response:
The total deregulation of this government in its removal from the reality of Kosovo's citizens is deep.
The incumbent's decision, Victory Pacolli, to ban the transportation of construction materials to Bjeshks and Nemuna, with the reasoning of protecting the ecosystem, is a clear example of an unknown and disunited approach. Without knowing the terrain, without realizing the lives of people living there, and without experiencing their difficulties, decisions are being made that directly strike families, villages, and the local economy. Rugova and Bjeshks and Nemuna are not just a natural area on the map, they are areas inhabited by 13 villages where people live, build, work and try to develop their economy under already difficult infrastructure conditions.
Instead of this Kosovo tourist pearl being supported by investments in the road, infrastructure and sustainable development, it is facing decisions that are at risk of isolating it and suppressing any development opportunities. This is the mentality of a government that is leaving behind only obstacles, harmful decisions, and a clear mirror of inability to understand the real needs of its citizens.
