Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced a minimum wage increase to 920 euros gross, which will enter into force on 1 April, during a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
The news has revealed Greek media, writes Ansa.
This salary represents a 40-euro increase compared to the previous minimum wage.
The government's goal, as set by the prime minister, is to reach 950 euros by 2017, in which Mitsotakis's second term ends.
“in such a complex context, national force (...) must be supported by domestic stability and unity”, the Greek prime minister said.
