(2 hours ago)Historian Jusuf Bougikov has named the historic statement that former President Hashim Thaci said on the day he resigned and left for The Hague.
According to Bujov, Thaci's message represented an important state act.
Hashim Thaci's “Declaration on the day he left for The Hague, when he resigned, was historic. I consider it historical because it said: I'm going to The Hague to protect Kosovo. Justice will protect him and I believe in justice”, Bujowi said last night in Rubikon, Kosovo.
Bujov added that there are no more meaningful words than those of a man of state who submits to justice, saying the Special Court gained legitimacy through voting in the Kosovo Assembly.
According to him, this declaration is evidence of devotion to the State.
“Hashim Thaci has given a testimony that he fights and, if needed, even sacrificed for the state of Kosovo”, said Bujovi.
