This decision has been made for security reasons and because of the current circumstances affecting air traffic in the region.
In a release published on the X platform (former-Twitter), Emirates has called on passengers not to head for the airport until new instructions are provided.
The company has stressed that the situation is constantly being monitored and that it will inform travellers once there are new developments related to the resumption of flights.
The security of our passengers and crew is our highest priority and will not be compromised”, the company's statement said.
According to Emirates, only limited flight services from Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been operated so far, using air corridors considered safe.
However, due to uncertainty in the region's airspace, most air operations have been temporarily suspended.
Passengers are recommended to regularly check the company's official page or other communication channels for updated information on flights, possible changes in routes and options for travel recharging. /Periscope/
