In a German Embassy report, it is stressed that it has been informed about the current missions, operational skills and technical equipment used during patrols and border surveillance along the Kosovo-Serbia border.
“From modern armoured vehicles to advanced surveillance systems, the ambassador praised the professionalism and dedication of troops in meeting KFOR's” mandate.
The “German soldiers serving in KFOR at Camp Bondsteel are part of Germany's contribution to the NATO-led mission in Kosovo. They play an important role in NATO's peacekeeping efforts in Kosovo by conducting patrols, training with partners, and maintaining the skills to respond quickly if the security situation requires”, said among other things in the announcement. /Periscope/
