July 14th parade in France, Albania part of ceremony with red flag

France is holding the traditional military parade of July 14th, France's National Day, one of the country's most important and symbolic ceremonies.
On the famous Champs-Élysées boulevard in Paris, thousands of citizens followed closely the march of troops, in a show of French power and history.
A special parade moment was Albania's participation.
An Albanian Army contingent preceded the ceremony with a red and black flag, bringing the Albanian national symbol to one of France's greatest public events.
Images have been distributed to Prime Minister Edi Rama on his social network “Facebook”, while writing that it is proud of Albania's achievements.
“Champs-Élysées, Paris ) Great Parade of July 14th. Proud of Albania”, the prime minister wrote.
At the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron, Albania's prime minister is attending the official ceremony on the occasion of France's National Festival.
The Albanian group's participation was received attentively, while the red flag appeared among the flags of other participating countries, marking a moment of pride.
The 14 July parade commemorates the beginning of the French Revolution and the takeover of Bastija in 1789. Each year it turns into a major event attended by the highest leaders of the French state, international representatives and thousands of citizens.
