(40 minutes ago)From Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague over Hashim Thaci's plea for parole and provision of some guarantees, including bail of 50,000 euros, has been said to belong only to the judge.
“is the only judge to decide for detention in accordance with law and regulation. The only judge will issue decisions on this at the right time along with reasoning on the decision. Thaci's parole, Special: The verdict belongs only to Judge”, said the Special Court's response to Rtv21.
Apart from the 50,000-euro guarantee, Thaci reportedly will not leave Kosovo territory and that he will hand over the passport and any other travel documents.
Thaci will also reportedly refrain from making any public statements, directly or indirectly in the media and, either in social networks, as well, he will not discuss the content of his case with anyone except the appointed members of his defence team.
