Do you have leased property or Airb? ATK with significant citizens notice

Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) reports all physical persons who realise revenue from renting housing, housing or other properties, including through electronic platforms such as Aerbnb and other similar platforms, that these revenues should be declared and subject to tax in line with tax legislation in force.
The ATK points out that within its activities of identifying the informal economy, it has analysed the data and information available and found that a number of people have realised revenue from renting property, but that they have not registered in ATK, have not declared this revenue and have not met their tax obligations.
For this reason, ATK calls on all persons who realise their income from renting property and who have not yet declared it, to voluntarily meet their tax obligations, saying:
Armed with Fiscal Number near ATK, if not registered;
Declared revenue realised; and
Paid tax duties under legislation in effect.
The ATK recalls that it has information, data and evidence that allows for identification of persons who earn money from renting property.
If these people fail to voluntarily meet their obligations, ATK will take the initial actions with legislation in force, including:
Enrollment under official duty when legal conditions are met;
Rating tax duties based on information, data and evidence available;
Charge interest and fines; as well
The company of other administrative and legal measures envisioned by tax legislation.
ATK stresses that it remains committed to promoting voluntary meeting of tax duties and ensuring equal treatment of all taxpayers, in line with legislation in force.
It is announced that for additional information regarding registration, reporting and paying taxes, taxpayers can contact the Kosovo Tax Administration through official communication channels or visit the nearest ATK offices. /Periscope/
