Action Market Inspectorate Over Kosovo for Derve Prices

The aim of this action has been to oversee the implementation of the interim regulation of oil products prices and the appointment of other safeguard clauses. Actions are aimed at protecting consumers, increasing transparency in the market, ensuring fair competition and preventing possible market disorders”.
The ministry said the action took place on the basis of the decision on the date 04.03.26 of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, and focused on more than twenty-five economic operators on the entire territory of Kosovo, including oil products for transport use.
The Central Oversight of the Market has acted in close co-ordination with Kosovo Customs, Tax Administration and the Competition Authority in order for any action to be co-ordinated and effective. We assure the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo that the Inspectorate will continue ongoing market monitoring to protect their health and security, fight informality and eliminate unfair trade practices.
The Ministry of Commerce said that in any case when legal requirements are found, inspectors will take punitive measures under legislation in effect.
