The worker lost his life after contact with the generator, an indictment of the owner and company in Pec

This company found a worker dying after contact with the generator.

According to the indictment, defendant S. K, dated July 7th 2025, in the village of Gorazdevc, Komuna-Peje, as company owner under his legal obligations “has not undertaken security and health measures in the village of Gorazdevc, so that he has not created security conditions at the workplace, has not provided the training for workplace security, has offered no information about the risks at work and the proper use of the machine, so despite the fact that now the deceased, SR, in his responsibilities and duties was only cleansing, the same one who had found death in his job, as a consequence of his contact with<>

Also, the state prosecutor has filed charges against the legal person, the company “The Lion Transport”, which due to neglecting the working conditions under the law on security and health at work and contrary to Article 6 paragraph 1 of this law, does not act in accordance with the provisions or technical rules on measures for workplace security, with which the high-level criminal work has been carried out, which, in turn, has lost the worker's life, now the late S.R.

The state prosecutor, in the established indictment, has proposed to the court that, in addition to condemning high-responsible criminal activity, the provision of additional punishment “halting the practice of profession, activity or duty”, in this case, of the fact that, in a concrete case, the defendant has exercised nonlicital activity and following no safety criteria at the workplace.
