Kosovo basketball legend Mihat Beleg changes lives

Today, he has passed away at the age of 88, one of the most prominent Kosovo basketball figures, Mithat Belegu.
Belegg was considered one of the basketball pioneers in Peja and Kosovo, leaving lasting traces on the development of this sport for more than five decades, Periscopi broadcasts.
He made extraordinary contributions as basketball player, coach, international judge and sports activist.
Appreciated the best Kosovo basketball player of the '60s, Beleg continued to serve for basketball even after his career as a player ended.
In 1978 he won the FBA International Judge's logo, becoming the first Albanian to succeed.
For his multi-year-old contribution to sports, Mithat Beleg was also honoured with the President of the Republic of Kosovo's Presidency Medal of Merit.
The burial of the deceased will take place tomorrow, first by 2: 00 p.m., at the city cemetery in Pec.
