TikTok officially opens in Albania, one year after deadlock

The decision envisions the removal of temporary measures banning access to TikTok, following reviews of problems in the field of public and social security in the digital environment.
The National Authority for Cyber Security, in collaboration with regulatory entities, will take all necessary actions to restore the platform, respecting the law on personal data protection.
The decision also abolishes measures imposed on March 6th 2025 with the decision No.151, which limited access to TikTok to prevent negative impacts on the digital and social environment.
