Taravari charges former coalition partner with slander at V LEN, Izet Mejit

The ASH chairman, Arben Taravari, yesterday filed a libel suit through his lawyer at the Skopje Foundation Court 2 against the mayor of the Cair municipality and one of the directors of the V LEN, Izet Medget.

The indictment comes after Mexhi's statements made in a television presentation, where he claimed that during his term as minister, Taravari issued seven licenses for cannabis processing factories.

According to the statement, prior to the establishment of the indictment, a legal deadline had been given for a public apology, which Mexhi did not exploit. Tarasar flatly denies these accusations, describing them as untrue and slanderous. He previously warned that he would take legal measures if there were no public apology for the statements made.

With the establishment of the indictment at the Constitutional Court Skopje 2, the case is expected to receive institutional flow. Recently, Medzit, speaking of charges from Taravari on the case of the company “Gjoka Construction”, which had to manage the Clinical Centre parking lot in Skopje, followed the action that took place in the past period, in which over 40 tonnes of marijuana was seized in some locations across the country. /Telegraphy/
