Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, said today he will expect the Council of Mandata's report before saying the final word regarding the SPAK's request for granting authorisation for the arrest of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluk.
In a long 97-minute speech, the head of the government said Balluk had three times demanded his written resignation, and all three times he had refused, for as “said, we cannot enter the resignation dance whenever a case arises, says Top Channel.
Rama spoke of presumption of innocence for all cases when SPAK or Prosecutors have sought jail arrest for state officials, saying they are waiting for tear warrants.
