Peja prosecutor warns interviewing more than 200 commissioners for vote manipulation, process continues today

Peja's foundation prosecutor has stated he will interview over 200 commissioners under suspicion of forging the December 28th election results.

Last day about 30 people were interviewed over allegations of vote manipulation in Decan and Yunik, while for today the interview of others has been warned. Then it will continue with the leaders.

This prosecutor's spokesman, Shkodran Nikci, has stated that all are being interviewed in the quality of suspects.

“have been interviewed so far by about 30 people, mainly from the municipality of Decani and Yunik who have been commissioners, in the quality of suspected persons, will also be prosecuted abroad, as will other commissioners from these two municipalities for tomorrow, to follow suit for interviewing leaders. We have territorial competence in five municipalities and in all of these we have collected evidence which is suspected of manipulation of votes and we are also taking investigative action. Initially, commissioners are interviewed as suspected persons, there are about 200 commissioners who will be interviewed by the state prosecutor's authorisation from regional investigation investigators to the police directorate at Pec”, he has stated.

It also stated material evidence is being collected, and after interviewing commissioners and leaders, pre-pre-procedure legal measures will be taken with the Criminal Procedure Code.

Asked whether Peja municipality would be included, the spokesman said the Peja prosecution is taking investigative action, adding that the most dynamic work will be in this municipality right away.

As for candidates for MPs, Nikci said that “any evidence that leads us towards persons who have criminal responsibility will be taken legal measures”.

Otherwise, until now, hundreds of people under those allegations have been arrested in shares in regions of the country.

Failure to comply with the vote was registered following the recount process, where candidates came up with about 7,000 votes.. /Periscopi/
