The Democratic Party of Kosovo expresses its support for the civic march “Justice, not politics! ”, which is organised by the Freedom platform, has a name on February 17th on the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo in Pristina.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo has announced its mobilization in all party structures throughout Kosovo, with the aim of making the wider citizens engage in this civic march.
The PDK has estimated that this march is the legitimate and peaceful call for impartial justice, in defence of Kosovo's liberation war and freedom fighters Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Jakup Krasniqi, Rexhep Selimi and their fellow fighters, who are facing court processes in The Hague. In this period when the process has entered the closing phase, The PDK demands full justice, equal and far from any political influence.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo re-exemplifies that the Kosovo Liberation Army's war was a fair and liberation war, born of a need for freedom and dignity. Any attempt to relate this historical truth constitutes injustice to the sacrifice of the people of Kosovo. The Democratic Party of Kosovo invites citizens in the spirit of unity and institutional respect to join Pristina on February 17th to seek justice and honour the liberation sacrifice on which the Republic of Kosovo is built. Justice, not politics! ”, he said The PDK in a media communique./Periscopi/
