Leibovich: Kosovo, Albania know what Iran attacks are

The director of the American-Israel Committee, Avital Leibovich, in an interview from Jerusalem, has spoken of Iran's attacks on Israel, with about 40 rockets issued so far. It also told of mobilization of the people following the conflict launched by the United States and Israel towards Iran today. More than eight hours ago, the preemptive attack [...]
More than eight hours ago, the preemptive attack on Iran by American and Israeli forces was launched on a large number of checks related to ballistic missiles, nuclear plans and other elements of the Iranian regime”, she said, for Clen Kosovo, Transaction Periscope.
According to Leibovich, although Iran has so far launched about 40 ballistic missiles towards Israel, it is a small figure compared to the arsenal of about 1,500 missiles believed to possess. Despite the limited number of attacks, it says all Israel is under alert, forcing citizens to enter and exit the shelters.
I wouldn't say there is panic, but there are high tensions and a great hope that the coming days or weeks will bring change to the region. If circumstances allow it and Iranian people have the opportunity to change the regime... that's why we're all hoping for”, she said.
Leibovich stressed that while Hezbollah and Huth, two major fronts in previous conflicts, have not joined Iran in this attack, this situation could change at any moment.
It also stopped in Israel's expectations, stressing that it is still too early for predictions. The first “is to make sure that every part of this incredibly vicious regime is over. Second, we avoid immediate risks”.
The director warned that Iran is not only a threat to Israel, recalling its attacks on other states in the region, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait. This is a global threat. A world without this regime would be safer for all”, she said.
She did not express surprise at President Donald Trump's statement, who said Iran poses a danger to Europe as well, and recalled that President Barack Obama's agreement with Iran in 2015 did not include ballistic missiles. According to her, the range of Iranian missiles has then gone from 2,000 miles [2,000 km] to 4,000 miles [4,000 km] today, alerting European countries.
In this context, Leibovich linked the situation to the experiences of Kosovo and Albania, placing emphasis on the security of the two countries.
The two countries we're talking about, Kosovo and Albania, have suffered from Iranian attacks, whether cyber attacks or diplomats who turned out not to be diplomats or something else. Kosovo and Albanian leaders know very well what the Iranian regime” represents, she stressed.
According to her, the upcoming support for Israel from the Balkans has great weight. I'm not at all surprised at the support. The Balkans are not far from us, and we share common interests and values. This is very important and I am very happy for the support we are receiving from Kosovo and Albania”.
Leibovich also spoke of the situation within Iran, saying the people seem divided. <x0rani has 90 million inhabitants and about 30% are supporters of the Revolutionary Guard. The change is not expected tomorrow morning. This is a process. Bricks for brick, this wall of the Iranian regime will collapse”.
She also talked about the involvement of the American Army Central Command in the region, naming the co-operation between the American and Israeli armies as very close and deep. According to her, long co-ordination and joint planning brought today's attack and showed the level of confidence in reports between the two countries.
Leibovich stressed that each of the American presidents, including Joe Biden, has contributed to Israel, naming American support as a bipartisan.
She also expressed happiness in the fact that Kosovo is a member state of the Peace Board. I saw your president in Washington at the ceremony. The more countries are part of the Peace Board, the better is for all”.
Finally, it also explained the manner of warning citizens in Israel: phone warnings when radars reveal the release of a rocket and sirens in areas where danger approaches, as well as emergency measures taken, the closure of schools, airspace, and the transfer of patients to underground objects. /Periscope/
