Rama congratulates the new prime minister of Ukraine: Albania Stands Firm With Ukrainian People

Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama has congratulated Ukraine's new counterpart, Serhii Kortsky, for his new post. In a post on the social network X, the head of the Albanian government has expressed Albania's support for the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom, sovereignty and peace in the over four-year fight with Russia.

Rama wishes success to Prime Minister Kortsky in the country's leadership alongside President Voldymyr Zelensky in one of what he described as the most difficult chapter in Ukraine's history, reports Dr. al

“Urim Prime Minister Serhii Kortsky for his appointment by Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada.

I wish success as he joins President Volodymyr Zelensky in leadership Ukraine during one of the most difficult chapters of its history, with courage, resistance and determination.


Albania stands firm beside President Zelensky, the Ukrainian Government and the Ukrainian people in their struggle for freedom, sovereignty and a just and lasting peace”, writes Rama on the social X network.

A day earlier (16 July), Ukraine's lawmakers voted for the appointment of President Voldymyr Zelensky's nominated company, Sergii Kortsky, as prime minister.

Kortsky replaces Yulia Svrydenkon, who resigned this week, while Zelensky sought to make the necessary changes to the Ukrainian government”.

Zelensky said Kortsky was the most suitable candidate for the government's priority in preparing Ukraine for another difficult winter, citing the experience of the energy sector chief of Naftogaz./ Periscope.
