11 immigrants' floating vehicle risked drowning on Vlora coast, saved by Albanian police

About the early hours of this morning, Border Police announced that an 11 - person boat vehicle was in danger, about eight miles from the mouth of the Vjo River.
Immediately after the signal, Border Police services headed toward the area with two gomone - type vessels and managed to locate the vehicle, enabling the rescue of all on board.
According to preliminary data, migrants are citizens of five different African and Asian countries. They have been transported to the ground and located in the local Vlora Police Directorate facilities, where necessary procedures are under way.
Their destination has not yet been defined or if they were trying to cross through Italy with the small floating vehicle. This is expected to be clarified after their questioning and completing investigative actions by competent authorities.
