Under the influence of alcohol, my daughter and wife are sentenced to two years in prison

On Tuesday, the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica has declared the indictment via video-inciling against the M.F. indictees, who is located in the detention centre of this city, serving him with prison sentences for two years.

And that on the same date, time, and place, the defendant, under the influence of alcohol, deliberately and by means of threatening words and actions, has also seriously ruined his wife, causing her fear and uncertainty about her life.

According to the media communiqué, the M.F. defendant. It is in custody from the date 03.06.2024, while the detention measure will continue until the integrity of the indictment. The time spent in detention will be calculated in the prison sentence.

The court has estimated that the defendant's actions constitute a serious violation of personal security, especially in circumstances of domestic violence, so it has pleaded guilty and pronounced the punishment. Against this act, the parties have a right to a complaint at the Kosovo Court of Appeal, in the 30 (thirty) days since the day of the written court's admission”, the announcement concludes.
