“Granit Plava has committed two unexplained murders” - Naim Mursel was asked about the email he allegedly requested an appointment with the investigators

At the Constitutional Court in Pristina, in the trial against Naim Mursel, Cocall and Granit Plava, on Wednesday, continued the defence of accused Murseli, who was asked about an e-mail allegedly sent to the prison administration to request a meeting with investigators, that he has information concerning the accused Plava, where he mentions two murders.

The accused Murseli, who launched the defence on January 29, 2026, initially claimed to have signed the February 1st 2024 chip and remains close to that statement. He said that in January 2024 he submitted a request to the inspectors.

He said he never asked the prison administration to go to the investigators to talk to him.

But prosecutor Yavorka Perlinchevic said that a mail sent from Murtelli to the High Security Administration in Duz to convey to investigators, arguing that information has been accepted about the detained Granit Plava.

“Naim Murseli has an info on Granit Plavin that committed two unexplained murders”, the prosecutor quoted her email.

It is also said that it has stated that there is information about a hidden weapon of the type of Kalashnikov.

After that, she said the prosecution had granted authorisation for investigators Ibrahim Sahiti and Nazim Dalim to go and talk to Mursel. So Perlinchevic asked Mursel if he remembered this visit by investigators to prison.

Yeah, I remember. They have come without my request, without my knowledge, without my lawyers' presence”, accused Murseli said.

Afterwards, the court asked the prosecutor to focus on the object of the prosecution, which the prosecutor said is presenting indirect questions.
I'm confronting the pieces of statements he gave to the Prosecutor on different dates. That he's saying he's stuck with the statements given when the lawyer asked him”, the prosecutor said.

Afterwards, the accused Murseli added that he does not deny meeting with investigators, but that, according to him, was not done at his request and that no record exists from that meeting.

The prosecutor addressed him, saying the e-mail he mentioned is evidence and has surrendered to his defence.

The “is no proof of that”, Murseli said.

Otherwise, the report by the Kosovo Institute of Fornical Psychiatry has found that Naim Mursel, accused of killing Liridona Ademij, has not had a disorder or mental illness at the time of the criminal work. Even at the September 22nd 2025 session, experts Shpend Hadzibeqiri and Bujar Obertica concluded that accused Murseli and Plava have no mental disorders.

At the initial session held on January 31st 2025, Naim Murseli was acquitted of killing his wife Liridona Ademij, Granit Plava was not declared guilty, while the Cocalla Framework said it was not declared without consulting defence. The defendant Tom Dodaj was convicted. The latter, having pleaded guilty was sentenced by the Foundation to 5 years in prison and 5 thousand euros in fines.

But, the Court of Appeals with the December 10th 2025 ruling changed the Foundation's decision, condemning Doday to 3 years in prison and 3 thousand euros in fines for selling the gun.

Otherwise, Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor on January 15th 2025 has filed an indictment against Naim Mursel, Granit Plavva, Cocallist and Tom Doday.

According to the indictment provided by the “Justice betrothal”, Mursel, Plava, and Kokalla had initially agreed that the murder would be carried out by the accused Plava by agreement that Murseli paid him 30 thousand euros. The entire plan for the murder of Liridona was reportedly made by her husband, now accused Naim Mursel, as a result of the disorder of family and marriage reports, where his desire for revenge arose.

The indictment reportedly originally revealed the plan to the Cocae from Mursel, but he had refused to find an opportunity to kill Liridona, and then Colola had found the Plava, with which Naim had announced it. And Naim Murseli himself, reportedly secured a 20-round weapon from accused Tom Dodaj, from whom he bought it for 280 euros. With this gun, it was now the death of the deceased. /Periscope
