According to authorities, injured persons are receiving treatment from emergency teams near the Tiergarten Park, where the event happened.

Due to the incident, organisers have cancelled the annual activity known as Christopher Street Day, which was part of the Berlin Priest manifestations.

The exact number of injured persons still is not known, while authorities continue investigations to clarify the full circumstances of the incident.

Earlier on Saturday, thousands had participated in the parade of pride along the streets of Berlin, which had ended near the Tiergarten Park, where additional activities were planned during the evening.
