The Food and Veterinary Agency, within the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, reports that it has rejected the import of a total of 21,280kg of liquor concentrations ( orange soil 65 conventional ascetic cocktails), which was exported by Prodalim Company. BV, headquartered at Vierhavenstraat 30, 3029 EU, Rotterdam, Holland, and imported to Kosovo from the US.P.K. Lapi Street, Podujevo.
Following the search of documentation and physical inspection of goods by the Inspectorate Win Sanitarian, it has been found that the concentration for drink had expired, and, as a result, its entry into the Republic of Kosovo has been prevented. This decision has been made in line with food safety legislation, which stipulates that expired products represent high risk for consumers, and as such, they are not allowed to enter Kosovo's territory.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, through the Food and Veterinary Agency, remains committed to constant monitoring of the food chain, aimed at ensuring food safety and protecting public health in Kosovo.
