Customs marks over 24 thousand euros counterfeit goods at Ferizaj

During the search of the subject's storage facilities, customs officials have verified customs documentation for declared goods, which included sports drawers to raise and children, with the destination office Customs and Ferizaj.

“During the search of the existing stock have been identified several packages of sports drawers of protected commercial brands, which have been placed under customs supervision for verification of further evidence, allegedly smuggled into Kosovo” reported in Customs's announcement.

After the count and investigation of the package identified as irregular, total of 1,920 pairs of NIKE's brand-based sports underwear and 330 pair of ADIDAS brand-based sports drawers have been seized.

The subject's “representative has acknowledged that seized goods are counterfeit products and has agreed to eliminate them, in line with the legal procedures in force for the protection of intellectual property rights.

The seized goods have been transported under security measures to customs objects and delivered for official storage” is said further in the announcement.

Customs suggests that according to the official assessment, the value of seized goods is 24,300.00 euros, while avoidances from customs duties are valued at 7,241.40 euros.
