At least two people have died as a result of hypothermia in Louisiana, and other storm - related deaths have been reported in Texas, Tennessee, and Kansas.

The mayor of New York City, Zohann Mamdani, said through an X post once Twitter that at least eight people died on Saturday, but the causes have not been determined yet.
