Charged for killing her children, Lindsey Clancy bursts into tears in court as the names of the three dead are read aloud

Her defence team argues that she suffered from a serious episode of psychosis after birth and that she was overemed, after having been described 13 different psychiatric medications in months prior to the killings. Prosecutors claim the deaths were deliberate and planned.

Clancy survived an attempted suicide after the death of her children, but she was paralyzed from the waist down.

In response to criticism of Lindsey's earlier lack of emotion in this case, her former husband, Patrick Clancy, told New Yorker in 2017 that Lindsey was getting antidepressive that made it difficult to cry. It is simply very emotionally numb and very conscious of this,” he explained.
