Ymer has said such a US movement was a clear message to the Government of Kosovo, especially to Prime Minister Kurti that it should change attitudes when it comes to the Constitution and the rights of minority communities.
“I think it is bad news for Kosovo and that the consequences will be great, especially in terms of security, rule of law, economic development, topics that were envisioned. I think it is a clear message that the Kosovo government, especially the prime minister of Kosovo, should change its positions when it comes to Kosovo's constitutional framework and the rights of non-most communities. Ymer has said he does not expect this decision to affect Kurti's LV in local elections, but in national ones whenever it is held.
