Yashar meets SATMOCH commander, discusses development of training capacities

The commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Union Jashari, has met with the Commander of the US Army Training and Assistance Organisation (SATMO) Colonel Thomas Melton. Yasar has thanked Melton for the contribution and engagement of the STMO teams in the establishment and development of the KSF.

The meeting has also discussed the three-year plan of joint activities that will be realised in the future, where the role of SATO teams is outstanding in training and building new KSF capacities.

The commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Union Jashari, has hosted the US Army Association for Training and Assistance Commander (SATMO) at the meeting. Colonel Thomas Melton.

Initially, General Yasar welcomed Colonel Melton and thanked him for the contribution and engagement of the SATO teams to the establishment and development of the Kosovo Security Force. Also highly praised were the KSF's recent achievements and the outstanding performance our members have shown during activities with the STMO teams.

During the meeting was also discussed about activities that have been held so far, including support from the STMO teams in building training capacities and the entity wave process, as part of the Force Development Plan. Moreover, the three-year plan of joint activities to be realised in the future was discussed, where the role of SATMO teams is outstanding in training and building new KSF capacities.

At the end of the meeting, it was once again indicated that support from the STMO training teams is very important for advancing the professionalism of KSF units. :
