The White House has taken increased security measures to protect President Donald Trump, following the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, have released two sources for CNN.
The September 11th memorial ceremony, attended by President Trump this morning, moved from the traditional location outside the Pentagon's walls to an internal courtyard due to security concerns.
Meanwhile, for Trump's visit tonight to Yankee Stadium, where he is expected to attend the match between New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers, there will be strict security measures in and around the stadium in the Bronx. Close sources have confirmed that there will be additional raids on all entrances, as well as added security around the area where the president will attend the match.
Trump had planned to spend the weekend on Trump Tower in New York, but the day before that, he changed his destination and will now stay at the golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Bedminster is one of the safest locations for the president's movements. Even last year, after his failed assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump had withdrawn to this residence.
