The operations were conducted in the village of Junake of Zvecan and at a local in Leposaviq, as part of the authorities' commitment to increasing security and rule of law in this part of the country.
Around 1500, the Border Police Fast Intervention Unit has searched a forest area in the village of Junake of Zvecan.
After the field intervention and control of the area, police have found three long weapons, a semiautomatic rifle and two hunting rifles placed in a metal tube and carefully hidden in the forest, as well as quantities of ammunition.
The unit for handling dangerous explosive vehicles and regional investigators are involved in the case's investigation.
Weapons and ammunition have been seized, while authorities have not disclosed the identity of any suspect
Meanwhile, at a local in Leposavic during a raid conducted by Border Police in co-operation with Customs and Regional Investigation Units, T-shirts, electroscik equipment and other items with alleged nationalist symbols and inscriptions have been found.
Due to the nature of seized materials, the Kosovo Special Prosecutor has also been announced.
Police Deputy Director for the North Veton Elshani confirmed that in both cases there are no arrests so far.
