VVV's Faton Peci hinders the meeting of Arian Tahiri Hamza with Fatjka Fatmir Latifaj, complaints at PZAP denied complaints

The Electoral Panel for Anxiety and Parashtre (PZAP) has rejected the complaint filed by the political subject Vetevendosje Movement (LVV), which had raised concerns about the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) regarding a photograph distributed in Mitrovico, where representatives of the PDK are seen along with a religious clergyman. Anxiety in the words of [...]
The complaint in question had been submitted by LVV candidate for Mitrovica chairman Faton Peci, who claimed that the photograph, where the candidate of Mitrovica is seen Arian Tahiri, along with Bedri Hamza, testifies to the involvement of religious elements in the election campaign, which according to the CEC rules is prohibited.
As evidence, Peci and his political subject had attached PZAP's exactly photograph published four days ago by the Mitrovica portal. But during the course review, PZAP found that the published photo contains no elements proving that it has been carried out during the election campaign, nor does it testify to maintaining a political activity involving a religious clergyman.
In the decision of September 20, 2025, P ZAP stresses that LVV's complaint “is unfounded, superficial and not concreteised”, underlining that publishing a photo in the media does not provide clear and convincing evidence for violating election rules. The panel adds that neither the complaining subject nor the evidence offered has proved that photography has been realised during the campaign period or in any political activity of the PDK.
With this decision Mitrovico has secured, PZAP rejected the complaint filed by Faton Peci and Vetevendosje Movement, making it clear that the photo published by Mitrovica cannot be used as a legal argument for election violations.
