A violent clash occurred around 0100am Sunday morning on the “Pelizza da Volpedo”, in the Anmenola area of Milan.
A 32-year-old Egyptian was attacked and stabbed several times by a group of about ten people. He was found severely injured in front of a building and was rushed to a life - threatening Niguada hospital.
According to the first information, the victim was in the company of his two countrymen when the attack occurred. The group of aggressors, which included people from North Africa and the Albanian community, left immediately after the incident, leaving the injured at the scene. Initially reported shooting, but later confirmed that there were no gunshot wounds, and at the scene no shelling was found, the TCh broadcast.
Investigations are continuing to identify the authors and clarify the causes of the event. The other two Egyptians who were with the victim were interrogated by Carabiniers and given their version of what happened. The investigative forces have seized footage of security cameras in the area to find out more about the incident and identify the authors.
