Albania's Defence Minister Pirro Ving, who underlined multidimensional co-operation in the field of defence, announced the news, Periscope.
Veng stressed that the “achievement of human and operational capacities remains a priority for the Armed Forces and Defence Ministry”.
ATSh says the FA Support Command team's visit to Kosovo is aimed at boosting interaction and strengthening professional and effective responses on the ground.
Co-operation between the two countries in the defence field has been concreteised with active participation in the international exercise “Defender Europe 2025”, where it says Albania and Kosovo play a key role.
Another area of strategic importance is military education. ATSh said the Albanian Armed Forces Academy follows to provide scholarships and courses for students and officers from Kosovo, while special quotas are also being considered at public universities for important defence specialties.
The bilateral co-operation plan for 2025 includes 64 concrete activities: meetings, training, exchanges of information and training, which are already under way. /Attish
