Through a post on the social network on Facebook she has recalled one of the darkest moments of her life, in a period filled with fear, pain and hopelessness.
After what I had experienced on April 14, 1999, there was little or no hope for me. Found an area completely surrounded by Serb forces, I didn't believe I would be saved alive. As a victim, I felt broken and helpless”, she said.

After what I had experienced on April 14, 1999, there was little or no hope for me. Found an area completely surrounded by Serbian forces, I didn't believe I would be saved alive. As a victim, I felt broken and helpless. At that dark time, when everything seemed to be going to a close, Kosovo Liberation Army fighters came to it. I'll never forget that moment!
They offered me first aid, cared for with what they could for my life and health. For me, the KLA was not just a military force, but they were saviors, defenders of the people who put themselves a shield of our troops, they gave their lives to continue our lives.
Those days I never forget! It will remain in my memory forever as moments when I felt the protection of my life with their lives.
Thank you forever, the Kosovo Liberation Army!!!
