Other NATO members have expressed solidarity for Poland and their concern following reports of repeated airspace violations from the Russian fears during an attack on Ukraine.
Swedish Prime Minister Wolf Krittersson said violations of the Polish airspace from Russia are “unacceptable”.
“The Russian struggle of aggression against Ukraine poses a threat to the security of all of Europe. Poland has the right to defend its airspace. We give our full support to Poland as a NATO ally and EU member. Sweden and Poland remain united in our support for Ukraine“, he said.
Latvian President Edgars Rinkçavič posted to X to express his full support and solidarity “with Poland and its allies.
He said that the Russian <x0-aggression in Ukraine directly affects us and adequate measures must be taken”.
Norway's Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide also called Russia's action “extremely disturbing and totally unacceptable”, reaffirming Norway's steadfast support for our ally Poland and our joint commitment to European security”. /Periscopi
