According to KFOR, such activities maintain visible and impartial presence, raise situation awareness and support overall security in the region.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at any time and KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Law Rule Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders”.
