Trump made this statement as it stepped up pressure on Europe to prevent the purchase of oil from Russia.
“He will have to make a deal, Zelensky will have to make a deal and Europe must stop buying oil from Russia.”, Trump said, as he was leaving for an official visit to Great Britain.
The American president has stepped up his efforts to achieve an end to the war in Ukraine since his second term began.
However, despite a summit he held with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on 15 August, there has been no progress in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine./Periscopi/
