In a post on his Social Truth platform, he said Ukraine could regain the original “borders from which this war began” with the support of Europe and NATO, due to pressures on Russia's economy, the BBC writes, broadcasts Periscope.
His comments came after talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, held after Trump addressed the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday.
Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to end the war, but has earlier warned that the process will likely include giving up from Ukraine part of the territory -- a result Zelensky has repeatedly rejected. /Periscope
