The second trial: Thaci refused, trial nearly 2 March

Kimberly West worked all day to hand over the preliminary file against Hashim Thaci, Hajredin Kuci, Bashkim Smajt, Isni Kilajt and Fadil Fazliu as a public version at 23 and 43 minutes.

With this step, the specialised prosecution indicated that it is ready to proceed with trial 2 against the former Kosovo president and members of the three groups, with whom it is alleged to try to undermine justice. The file surrendered, despite Thaci's two complaints, including one on the jurisdiction of judges to handle the case, are in the Chamber of Appeals, says Klan Kosova.

Also, the move takes place without completing the examination of all of the four of the accused's equipment, since during the raid they conducted on Thaci in custody, they have found little material.

On the order that Marjorie Masseolot pass the juro in the first half of November, Thaci séji is considered either the request for the trial to begin on March 2nd after the end of the major war crimes case and crimes against humanity.

Since witnesses in this case will be called to the second instance, Thaci is unable to interview for trial, such as Smaj, Kilaj, Kuci and Fazliu, who have limitations.

In this case, after the prosecution has handed over the list of evidence and witnesses, defences have only until October 20th to hand in their preliminary files.

The accused five has warned that they will not offer alibis for the actions they are tasked with, unless they testify to why they have no criminal responsibility for them. /Periscopi/
