Tragedy in Luxembourg: Five people lose their lives in a serious traffic accident

Five people have lost their lives in a serious traffic accident that took place Monday evening in Luxembourg. According to police, the accident occurred at around 18:10 on N15, between Feulen and Heiderscheid, where a car and a van crashed to the head. According to police, the accident occurred at around 18:10 on N15, between Feulen and Heiderscheid, where a car and a van crashed to the head. After the crash, both vehicles were set on fire and completely destroyed. Authorities confirmed that all five passengers of vehicles lost their lives at the scene.
The exact causes of the accident are still being investigated, while it is known that at the scene the speed limit is 50 km/h.
A large number of emergency teams were mobilised, including several ambulances, firefighters from surrounding areas, an air rescue helicopter, and an emergency doctor. The unit for psychological support of the National Fire and Rescue Service (CGDIS) was also present.
A CGDIS spokesman confirmed on Tuesday that no other persons were involved in the accident.
Diekirch authorities have launched the process of identifying the victims, but no data on their age, gender or identity has yet been made public.
