Traffickingd 11 tonnes of cocaine, Albanian extradited by Dominican Republic

The extradition of Albanian citizens S. P., allis V. P., from Punta Cana/ Dominican Republic, Albania.

Following Interpol's intensive co-operation with Interpol Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, under the international police operation codenamed “The Waned”, in the early hours of today's morning, finalised procedures for extradition from the Pounta Cana/ Dominican Republic towards our country, by Albanian citizens S. P., allis V. P., 41, born in Lushnje.

This citizen was declared at large after the First Scale Special Court for Corruption and Organised Crime has appointed the measure of personal security “arrest at” for criminal acts “Narcotics Trafficking”, “the chairmanship of criminal acts by criminal organisations and structured criminal group” and “Cleaning of criminal product or criminal activity”.

As a result of information provided by the Department of Criminal Police in the State Police and its exchange through Interpol Tirana with Interpol Santo Domingo, arrest was made possible in Punta Cana/ Dominican Republic, finalising extradition to our country of this citizen. Citizens S. P., at the conclusion of the procedures, was handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons.
