Today, the provisional measure imposed by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, which has suspended all actions and decisions by Kosovo's Parliament since 5 September, including procedures for forming the Government.
The court estimated that the ban on all decisions and actions of elected deputies of the Parliament, and any further procedure on forming the Government, could avoid irreparable risks or damage that concern the founding of state institutions and making decisions contrary to the Constitution.
Moreover, the Court estimated that, in the sense of definitions of the Law, there are circumstances of “public interest”, which include preserving the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo.
The move was taken after the complaint filed by the Serbian List, which rejected the way the Assembly Constituent session was developed.
