The first session of Albania's new Parliament legislature has started with debates and tensions on the part of the opposition, following Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha's request to keep his word for procedure.
Berisha, along with the Democrat deputies, Flamur Noka, Gazment Bardi and others blocked the Parliament's speaker, from which Berisha continued to speak on all the session manager's continued request, Vasil Laljo, writes Euronews.al.
The commission to verify mandates was voted amid debates, while the next session was set for today at five o'clock.
