Tahiri has called for the creation of a new government of national unity, excluding current Prime Minister Albin Kurti from any executive role in the near future, follows Periscope.
According to her, suspending US dialogue is a very serious signal for the state of Kosovo.
“If the main ally interrupts strategic dialogue, he clearly says he has no obligation at all to recognise the need to continue co-operation this is stopping the road,” said Tahiri.
She stressed that Kosovo is not built on weak grounds, but on sacrifice of generations and heroes of war.
This country has, not poor foundations, but solid foundations because it is founded on heroes who fell for freedom. But the world no longer sees this because of the current political crisis,” she added.
Edita Tahiri called on political parties to act urgently and find a solution to get out of the crisis.
It is therefore urgent to find the way out. Becoming a coalition government from all sides of the opposition and even those who are not officially in power, but are currently holding the government illegally. To sit together, negotiate and find common language for the sake of Kosovo and the people, even for the sake of the alliance with America,” stressed Tahiri.
Commenting on the situation further, she voiced confidence that the solution will not be delayed and that it will come through the creation of a new governing format.
After this suspension of strategic dialogue from America, I expect and am convinced that soon there will be a way out. In other words, there will be a formula for a coalition government, but without Albin Kurti as prime minister,” ended it. /vave1/
