Syla: Shameless by Kosovo leaders for defence witnesses at The Hague

The KLA's OVL considers the testimony of former diplomat James Rubin and former adviser to the Albanian delegation in Rambouillet, Paul Williams, and other witnesses expected to be in the coming days.

But, KLA's OVL deputy head Gazmend Syla calls it a pity that there is no greeting from the government and presidency against defence party witnesses.

This reaction does not occur five years since our fellow fighters are there in specialised rooms with bound hands. It's not like we've expected any reaction from them, it's a sign that it shouldn't have happened in any other country. Such a reaction led these people to doubt what defence witnesses say. Here, this is too embarrassing for them, it's a sad situation that since the state doesn't react at least with a thank you. To thank those officials who have taken the American wrestling to prove our war, in fact the war is all of the people of Kosovo and not only of the KLA. This is pathetic, don't bite under their skin. I believe there is no Albanian who has not enjoyed this evidence”. Syla told RTV21.
