In a report issued to the media by OEK, the suspension of this initiative amounts to a step back for Kosovo's economic and diplomatic aspirations.
OEK quoted its chairman, Lulzim Rafuna, as saying that improving Kosovo's image as a safe and suitable investment destination should be a national priority.
He underlined that the lack of foreign investment, along with the loss of investments by the diaspora, is creating an extremely challenging situation for the country's economy, which is already facing numerous difficulties”.
“Rafuna also stressed that liberalisation of the energy market has brought additional barriers to businesses and to the economy in general”, the report said.
Kosovo's Economic Oda appeals for the quickest road to restore Strategic Dialogue with the United States and emphasises the urgent need for consolidation of economic policies in order to restore foreign investors' confidence and create stable conditions for economic development. /Periscope.
