The suspension of Strategic Dialogue, Limaj: Kosovo does not have the luxury of losing America

Limaj through a post on the social network Facebook has said that reports with the US are not just political issues, they are the legacy of the generation that brought us freedom and state, reports Periscope.

“Examination of Strategic Dialogue from the United States is one of the worst shocks Kosovo has experienced in the past 25 years. This is a clear signal that trust with our vital ally has been violated, and this should bother us all”, Limaj said.

Limaj has estimated that Kosovo does not have the luxury of losing America. The US alliance is the foundation of our security, development, and future. Any action or approach that harms this relationship is action against national interest”.

Limaj has asked the country's institutes to reflect and urgently restore confidence and partnership with the US.

“Today is the moment of reflection for the country's institutions: a return to the path of co-operation, transparency and responsibility is needed. I demand actions for urgent return of confidence and strengthening of partnership with the US, because only side by side with our Euro-Atlantic allies can we guarantee a secure future for Kosovo. This is the obligation to our citizens and to the sacrifice of the generation that brought us freedom”, he said. /Periscope
