The Supreme Court of Kosovo has refused the Vetvendosje Movement (LVV) complaint against the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), regarding statements by Skyright candidate for chairman Sami Lushtaku, made during the election campaign.
The LVV had demanded that sanctions be pronounced against PDK and Lushtak, claiming he had called for violence on September 13th, on the “Yehona Political” show in Klan Kosova, when he said:
This country's “Citizens must go out on the streets and protest... they must drag on the streets of Pristina. ”
The electoral panel for Ances and Parashtre (PZAP) had earlier rejected the LVV complaint, praising that the declaration was not directed at a certain subject or individual and constituted no violations of the Law on Elections.
The Supreme Court, considering complaint and evidence, found that the decision was made PZAP is fair and law-based, stressing that LVV claims have not been proven and do not have legal support.
By this act, the Supreme Court ruled PZAP and rejected LVV's complaint as unfounded.
