Following the United States decision to suspend Strategic Dialogue with Kosovo, a sharp reaction has come from the executive director of the Kosovo Institute for Justice (IKD), Ehat Miftaraj.
In a post on social networks, Miftaraj directly accuses Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani of making relations with Kosovo's top ally, the United States.
“renders strategic dialogue America-Kosovo. Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani may today feel proud to this achieved strategically at the expense of the interests of the Republic of Kosovo”, writes Miftaraj.
He describes their actions and statements as motivated by “pathetic pathriotism”, coupled with ongoing attacks on the Constitutional Court, the media and any critical voice in the country.
“Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani on behalf of pathetic patriotism, policies and statements against the Constitutional Court, the media and anyone with critical opinion in this country today managed to put Kosovo under punitive measures from the United States of America”, he points out.
